Founder and Creative Director Sam brings a unique blend of experience in interior design and real estate to his work. In 2024, he channeled his entrepreneurial drive into something meaningful—founding Motife, a brand built around modern living. Motife focuses on what matters most: quality, comfort, sustainability, safety, and cost-effectiveness—all brought to life through thoughtful design and smart upgrades.

Sam draws inspiration from visionaries like Joseph Wheeler and Anthony Carrino, who reimagine the American home as a high-performance, tech-integrated space. Wheeler’s FutureHAUS project champions factory-built, modular components that are easy to install, efficient, and accessible to all. Carrino, meanwhile, has shown that even existing homes can be transformed—using advanced insulation, intelligent HVAC systems, and solar power to produce more energy than they consume. Sam aims to bring these groundbreaking ideas into his own product line.

Born in New York, Sam now oversees operations across the US, Canada, and Hong Kong. His global perspective gives him direct access to sourcing in China and Japan—and he’s passionate about sharing authentic, high-quality products from these regions with the wider world.
